Depression: a checklist

Below, a number of feelings and states of mind are described. We have all experienced these moods once in a while, since they are completely normal and human. However, if you are experiencing several of those feelings during two to three weeks, it could be a matter of depression or a particular variant with the same symptoms of depression. This checklist can be used as an aid when you are seeking help for your depression, because it is an easy way to mark which feelings you are having.
Take into account that certain medication or other diseases may cause the same symptoms as those of depression. In other words, if you are scoring positive on this checklis, that does not necessarily mean that you are suffering from depression, but your negative feelings could be linked to other factors instead.
