What is the Rescue Remedy?

Rescue remedy, often simply called Rescue, is the only blend of several Bach flower remedies that Dr. Bach developed himself. The rescue remedy is sometimes referred to as ’first aid remedy’. It is completely harmless and causes no side effects whatsoever. It can even be combined with other medication, without causing any problems or side effects. The composition is completely natural and can be administered to children as well.

Rescue remedy: the composition
The rescue remedy always consists of five different Bach Flower essences, which are always combined in the same way, and is considered the 39th remedy. The rescue can therefore be used in a Bach flower essence and counts as one remedy.
These Bach flowers are used in the rescue remedy:
Rock Rose : in case of extreme and sudden panic and fear
Impatiens : in case of stress, unease, tension, agitation
Clematis : in case of unconsciousness
Star of Bethlehem : to cope with shock or trauma
Cherry Plum : in case of despair, fear of losing control

Indication
The rescue is the Bach flower remedy for emergency situations, crisis moments and is only to be used temporarily and at critical moments. It is an essence which Dr. Bach specially developed for sudden and emotionally challenging times.  The rescue remedy therefore only offers a temporary solution to the problem.
That is why it is advisable to get to the bottom of the problem and to use one of the essences as described on the website. Depending on the problem, one of the Bach flower remedies can offer a permanent solution. You can also order a customized essence. In that case, we take the individual and his problems into account and create an individual Bach flower essence.
